"No Man is an Island" ...

At Circle D Farm Summer Day Camp we strive to provide our campers with a philosophy in action that will enable them to encompass values learned here for their entire lives. Reaching out to other through team sports and shared experiences. The thrill of new knowledge and the relaxation from being physically fit, the excitement of new and lasting friendships all add up to a memorable experience each camper will treasure for years to come.

Location and Facilities...

Circle D Farm is part of a 160-acre farm in the hills of western Howard County, Maryland. The camp consists of a 1,200 sq. ft. pool and bath house, pavilion, mini golf, six hard tennis courts, basketball courts, a barn with milk house used for arts and crafts, sheds, ball fields, shaded areas, tackroom, horseback riding rings, as well as 40 acres of woods with trails and creeks. Activities include swim lessons, cookouts, nature walks, horseback riding, arts & crafts, team sports, and much, much more.

Enrollment...

The camp is open for 8 weeks from June to August. A minimum of two consecutive weeks enrollment is required and starts on any Monday. Special enrollment arrangements may be approved by the Director if space is available. The regular day camp hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On July 4th there will be NO CAMP. Bus service is provided from throughout the area, including most of Howard County. Before- and after-care are provided at the camp.

Staff...

Qualified, college-age counselors (many have been past campers or counselors) direct all activities at the different age levels under the supervision of the Director, who resides at the camp. A lifeguard is on duty at the pool at all times, and all swimming courses are taught by qualified personnel. Staff also consists of CPR- and first aid-certified members. Background checks are performed on all staff.

Come Visit Us...

Parents are welcome to stop by at Circle D any time and are encouraged to bring a camera, but are asked not to disrupt any camp activities.

Inspection of the camp is welcomed. You may visit the camp by appointment on any Saturday or Sunday, starting in April between 11:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. Or call for an appointment.

Group Picnic Facilities...

Plan a hassle-free picnic complete with all the fixin's that everyone will enjoy! Circle D Farm makes it easy. Family type affairs sponsored by employers take full advantage of our Day Camp's excellent facilities with accommodations for up to 1,000 people. Have your picnic chairperson contact Circle D.

Circle D Farm has available the Meadowview Banquet Room and Conference Facility. A charming, yet private and convenient alternative for your special event or business meeting.
